Great house with an even more amazing view. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Raf’s house.
Wat een heerlijke plek! Zoveel rust en een prachtig uitzicht. Je bent hier in het echte Andalusië. Elke dag hoorden we de belletjes van geiten die door de geitenhoeder over de heuvels geleid werden. Soms heel ver weg en dan ineens vlakbij tot aan de muren van het terrein. Terwijl wij aan een ontbijtje zaten onder de druivenranken op het terras en uitkeken over de vallei, zagen we de olijfboeren de olijven uit de takken van de boompjes op de heuvels slaan en oogsten. Terwijl we bij het zwembad in de zon lagen kwamen kwetterende zwaluwen laag overgevlogen om kleine insectjes uit het water te vissen. En ook al was de migratie al begonnen, zagen we elke dag statige roofvogels overvliegen, die zich op de thermiek steeds hoger de lucht in lieten voeren. Je bent hier echt even helemaal weg van de stad en wij zijn hier helemaal tot rust gekomen. Het huis en het zwembad hadden op het moment dat wij er waren wat TLC nodig, maar dat deed uiteindelijk niets af aan hoezeer wij hier genoten hebben.
Un séjour magnifique à la maison Carrasco si jolie où Raf et Martine ont su conjuguer confort et pratique avec beaucoup de goût! Des hôtes bienveillants, très réactifs et à l'écoute! Une mention spéciale à Shirley notre guide jusqu'à la maison tres accueillante! Que du bonheur...
Raf and Martines place was absolutely beautiful! It is such a private and relaxing spot with a spectacular view that the house and the swimming pool overlooks. The house is well set up with everything you need. Would highly recommend staying at this gorgeous place!
Ralph’s house is beautiful, with 3 very nice bedroom and each a bathroom, think walls and small windows so the house stayed cool, a great pool and good service. The house is on top of a mountain an the road to get there is an adventure... but then you get a great view!
Ralph's Villa is in a truly beautiful spot near the town of Colmenar. A truly beautiful spot; no photo could possibly do the view justice. The house is very well appointed with lovely small touches like the ceramic holders in the bathrooms. We had a fantastic stay here where the only sound you'll hear are the goat bells in the evenings. The only thing to take into consideration is that the villa is about 2 km's from the main road on a dirt road that means you need to add 20 minutes onto each journey when planning days out. I would recommend Ralph's Villa to anyone, especially families.
